Hitting the road...

Our stay in FL has come to an end. The month flew by really fast! It was nice having so much company. I hope if we do make some sort of move many more of you can come and visit as well! I know Drew and Emilie (aka Nee-Nee) are already coming back for mid-winter break ;)

We are all packed up and Shay and I are just hanging out for an hour or so until we go meet Matt at the office and head on our way. We are driving to Gainseville Fl tonight (about 4 hours) and then heading to Atlanta tomorrow where we will visit Grandpa's offices at Amerifleet and spend friday with him at the Atlanta aquarium! We are excited to break up the drive home. Then we are bringing grandpa home with us so he can help drive ;)

I lost my cord to my computer to download my latest pics....so i will be hopefully stopping to get one this afternoon and will post some our our last pics from FL and them have it to post some from Atlanta! I'm sure you are all ready for me to stop with the pics already! BUT....I do know some of you LOVE seeing little boy Shay!!! Boy has he grown in the past 4 weeks.....you all will notice a big difference just in his speach! See you all soon!!!

Miami Ink...

So before my mom left to come to FL she was watching Miami Ink (on TLC) which is a show about a tattoo studio in Miami Beach. She called Ali and told her she wanted a tattoo form there for her bday. I researched it and found out that they do not take appts. and the artisits that do (from the show) have months of a waiting list! So to get tattooed by another artisit it is first come first serve....well we suprised her and went to Miami for the day and showed up in front of the studio at opening time and ...


She is signing her release papers!

The new tattoo studio which is two doors down form the smaller studio that was previously shown on the show and is now a retail store...(I think he said the new season is going to be shown in this studio!)

Happy Birthday Nana!

Tuesday was my mom's birthday so after our day at the play cafe we went for dinner by the beach. We went and checked it out to see how the storm was affecting the water...Shay was amused by the strong waves that were crashing in..

{RAIN}forest Cafe...

Since we were hit with our tropical storm we had to find some things to do inside....so we hit the outlet mall which is pretty much all indoors here. They also have a Rainforest Cafe, which Shay LOVES!

When we got home, we made him try on some of his new clothes but all he wanted to do was play with his new remote controlled car!


We also headed to A Latte Fun Play Cafe...

We are in tropical storm Faye....but everyone is ok ;)

We are just getting heavy rain and some high winds (some tornado warnings too)....the sun might be back out tomorrow! We haven't seen it since we left the beach on Sunday!

I guess this is what happens in hurricane season!

Happy Anniversary....

Sunday was our 6th anniversary! WOW! Time flies.....
We headed to the beach and then Matt and I escaped for a quiet dinner and evening out! Thanks Nana and Auntie Ali for babysitting :) Shay was well taken care of since we came home to new toys and movies form their trip to Target!

On Saturday we had a nice dinner with one of our bestest friends! Taras was in town for work and met us for dinner and then we headed to Mizner Park for coffee and ice cream...

Auntie Ali and Grandma (officially NANA) came in yesterday afternoon! We went to Grand Lux Cafe for dinner and walked around the mall. Ths morning we went and checked out Butterfly World which is just a few minutes form our condo. It is the largest butterfly house in the country! We also got to see different exotic birds , humming birds, and feed Lorikeets!
